About Us

MaK Tackle was started in march 05. The MaK stands for Matt and Kip. We wanted to have an affordable, quality, dependable fishing reel for under $30. after many attempts, we finally succeed in july of 05, with our 9 ball bearing spin cast reel. We then decided to start to make some of the tackle we would be using on the lakes we were fishing. We are an LLC company and became fisher/businessmen. Our staff is 4 tournament fisherman Matt Winkelmann/Kip MacDonald owners, Jeff Pruehs and Dan Osadczuk sales and tech support. We are a small company using this tackle business as an excuse to meet other fisherman and get out and use our products. We hope you enjoy our website and visit our venders that carry our products in their stores, and try our products. We hope to see you at the weigh in's at the lakes or just out and about.
